Новите технологии - нови проблеми и нови решения за младежите със зрителни увреждания
Date du début: 1 août 2014, Date de fin: 30 nov. 2014 PROJET  TERMINÉ

This project intended for young people aims to elaborate on issues such as youth unemployment, access to information, social exclusion, lack of motivation as well as the role of new technologies as a source providing solutions for them. In order to achieve this aim, CSSI – Priorities will organise and realise a Youth Exchange, entitled “The new technologies – new problems and new solutions for vision impaired youths” together with the Polish Association of the Blind and the Center for Business Support "Inclusion of VIPs in social and economic life". The Exchange will take place in hotel Hashove near Vratsa, Bulgaria from 20th to 28th of September 2014. A total number of 30 youths with and without vision impairments aged between 18 and 30 will take part in the Exchange. Within these 8 days the participants from Bulgaria, Poland and Moldova will become familiar with the new EU Programme in the sphere of youth and with the opportunities it provides for personal and professional development. In addition, they will be able to share their individual experience regarding the labour market and previous participation in voluntary initiatives. The young people will also discuss the possibilities and restrictions which the new technologies create for them, good practices for leading an active and healthy way of living in the context of a rushed everyday life in the urban environment etc. The project will be implemented thanks to a well-balanced programme developed in advance consisting of discussions, presentations, workshops, role-play and indoor activities combined with hiking, visits to sites with cultural and historical significance and sports and leisure facilities in the region as well as other methods and practices typical of informal education. Thus a multi-level exchange will be achieved. On one hand, the young participants in the project will become familiar with the culture of the countries taking part in the initiative and on the other, with the difficulties their vision impaired peers experience learning also how and with what exactly they could help them in school, in the street, in the office and in their free time. As a result the youth’s proactive behavior and participation in various social initiatives will be encouraged. The Youth Exchange will achieve proper dealing with the stereotypes regarding vision impaired people and establishment of the European values such as implementation of the neighbourhood policy, understanding, tolerance and unification in diversity.
