Date du début: 1 mai 2016, Date de fin: 30 nov. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

CONTEXT:Gradually, but in the good way, Non Formal Education (NFE) is being recognized in the holistic development of individuals, mostly in the field of Youth. We believe that associations active in this field has contributed greatly to it, although more by conviction and experience than by structured knowledge about what indeed NFE is. We also understand that a major flaw in our activity is the lack of opportunity to discuss and reflect collectively on our profession as European youth workers, its problems and solutions. Therefore, youth workers, specially from small associations like ours that has almost no experience in international projects, must have the opportunity to optimize their actions, by knowing how to promote competence development In youth by NFE methods. This opportunity will result in quality actions in the youth field and, consequently, a better recognition of NFE as promoter of competences.OBJECTIVES:a) Promote the optimization of youth work, its impact on developing skills in young people and their effectiveness in motivating young people to actively participate in society;b) In a 5-day training course, empower and capacitate European youth workers in relation to NFE concept and methodologies by concrete examples of good practices;c) Promote good practices in youth work, intercultural dialogue, partnership development and European citizenship;d) Optimize the work of associations in the youth field, reinforcing its European dimension and establishing key partnerships for the sharing of best practices;e) Develop associations involved skills related to project management and partnerships, targeting greater internationalization of their practices and greater cooperation between European associations.NUMBER AND PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS:33 youth workers of partner associations (small-scale and small European dimension), with the need to extend their knowledge and their performance in ENF and see how great asset the ability to share best practices in the area in European context and co-build their knowledge is.
