No H8 youth exchange will bring together 38 people from Finland and Malta to work with the theme No hate Speech and voluntary work. Participants will also tackle to the themes like EU citizenship, active participation, healthy lifestyle and active ageing. No H8 youth exchange will be held in Konnevesi Finland from 3rd of August to 10th of August 2014. 18 participants from Konnevesi 4H Association will be hosting 20 Maltese participants from Fgura Youth Center. There are 16 youths at the age of 14 to 18 in 4H group with two group leaders. From Fgura Youth Center there comes 17 youths at the age of 14 to 18 with three group leaders. Every activity of the No H8 youth exchange will be based on learning by doing method, non-formal learning and active participation of young people. The main objectives for this youth exchange are to tolerant different people and fight against racism. Through this project participants want to develope their own comminication skills with other people from different countries and really seek solutions how they can change behaviours against other people. Other important objectives are to learn to organize youth projects, get new experiences, develope english skills and learn new things about new culture. Dunring this No H8 youth exchange not only the participants can taste the intercultural athmosphere but also other local inhabitants in Konnevesi and Jyväskylä. Participants will do different kind of voluntary work with kids and elderly people and also visit in Konnevesi high school to arrange non-formal sessions with pupils. No H8 youth exchange will have a great impact to the participants but also in local level. Cooperation will be done with different organizations and inhabitants are really looking forward to get guests from different EU country. We are sure that this project will increase EU awareness in both countries and people involved this project are more aware of human rights and discrimination.
