Date du début: 1 juin 2016, Date de fin: 30 nov. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project of European Voluntary Service "No Borders Volunteering 2" aims to promote the active participation of young people through volunteering experience at international level and encourage cooperation between Europe and the Russian Federation. The project will involve four Italian volunteers for a long-term mobility for 6 months in Russia sent by Associazione Culturale Link. The host associations are "Special School 365" and "Veras", both locate in Nizhny Novgorod and active in the field of education for children and youth with disabilities and learning difficulties. At the "Special school 365" will be received two volunteers from September 1, 2016 until March 1, 2017, instead "Veras" will welcome volunteers separately, one from September 1, 2016 to March 1, 2017, and one from December 1, 2016 al May 31, 2017.The volunteers will be engaged in various tasks: social and educational activities with disabled youth and children, intercultural and artistic, recreational activities and sport, organization and participation in promotional events to spread knowledge about specific education for disabled, support in the design of new courses and implementation of techniques of non-formal education.Hosting volunteers is a concrete example of the meaning of a common Europe, and can be a model for the young people who come to the European issues with hesitation and mistrust. Volunteers play a vital role in the daily work of the organisations involved and in the interacting with various local actors and the host community. The Italian volunteers will bring to Russia added value through their ideas, enthusiasm, innovation and that will offer the partners involved a boost motivation and new working and collaboration inputs. "No Borders Volunteering 2" will allow the creation of new partnerships at European level and improving existing ones and, at the same time, facilitate the promotion of EVS and Erasmus+ Program among young Italians and Russians.
