The priory matter that is to be considered about improving the quality of our school is needs analysis of strategic plan studies and increasing personnel competencies which are detected to be feasible for improvement. The improvement in professional and personal competencies is going to contribute directly to the success rate of our school. For a qualified education, the elements that influence education have to be qualified, as well. The leading factor that increases the quality of education is teacher competency. Our project, which has been prepared to enhance the capability of our teachers’ utilizing from technological advances, is going to contribute to improve the quality of education, to introduce innovations and to promote internationalization. The attendants in this project are going to be made up of 10 teachers who are going to be selected among 39 personnel. These teachers are giving courses in our school and are actively using information technology equipments. Our project, named “Competent Teacher Qualified Education”, provides the attendants an opportunity of a ten day course in Stockholm, Sweden from 12th to 22nd June 2016 in order to enhance their capabilities in using information technology equipments. Upon the completion of the planned activities, our attendants are going to be capable of; - using information technology equipments -preparing course content, activity, and material using information technology equipments -learning and using new teaching skills, and creating new, original, and practical ideas. In addition to enhancing their professional knowledge and skills, our teachers are going to improve themselves in some behavioural skills such as using time efficiently, being punctual, working with principles, improving their self-confidence, working in a group, taking responsibility and following the rules. When teachers demonstrate the so far mentioned educational attainments in classes, students are also going to acquire the ability to use information technology facilities. Efficient use of information technology resources in classes enables the students to comprehend the lessons better and as a result this will ensure that they turn out to be better educated individuals. Special attention will be given to dissemination activities in order to inform more people and more institutions about the results and deliverables of the project and to integrate these deliverables with the education system. Electronic materials, presentations, videos and animations, concept maps, and all the other educational materials that are prepared during or after the project activities are going to be shared through “Eğitim Bilişim Ağı”( the website of the ministry of national education), “E-twinning Portalı” and Erasmus+ platform, so they are going to be presented to the use of teachers and students all over Turkey and Europe.
