The Project ”No nurse unemployed”, has as the aims the mobility of 80 students of the Lyceum "Radu Miron", Vaslui, Romania, in June 2016 and June 2017, for apprenticeships at WBS TRAINING AG, Dresden, Germany, focused on: - Applying Professional Nursing Care and Assisting in medical diagnostics and treatment; - strengthening teamwork skills and professional communication; - improving language, pedagogical and cultural skills. The main objectives of the project are: The general objectives of the project are: The general objective of the project is the development of the professional and linguistic skills, as well as increasing the opportunities of the aspirants to the qualification of nurse practitioner to integrate in the domestic and European labor market. Specific objectives: I. The development of the competencies and practical skills for the 80 students of conducting functional explorations, administration of treatment, providing the first aid in emergency situations, measuring biological constants, drawing up plans for health care, using medical instruments and modern equipment. II. The increase of employment opportunities for beneficiaries by accumulating experience and the level of professional training achieved during the mobility stage; more than 90% of the students will specialize as nurses after graduating their studies. III. The accumulation of competencies and practical skills in using modern medical instruments and equipment at European standards level IV. The acquisition of language skills (specialized terminology in medical care) in the German language at level B1 at least. 82 % of the students should get international certificates. V. The development of working skills in mixed multicultural teams (nurses, physicians and other medical staff) in order to improve the quality of the medical services. The mobility will take place in two groups of 35 respectively 45 students of “Radu Miron” High School, Romania, at WBS TRAINING AG, Germany. The main activities in the successful implementation of the project are: Before the mobility: - the popularization of the project approval among all the students and the teaching staff in the school. - The achievement of the methodology of selection of the students. The selection of the candidates will take place according to the methodology. - Linguistic preparation in German - Multicultural preparation. During the mobility - the reception of the students, accommodation, introduction of the internship programme, processing the internal regulations of the institution, training labor safety and protection standards, introduction of the monitors and staff involved in activities during the internship - practical training, case reports, practical application - Final assessment / evaluation The students will receive the Europass Certificates, filled in with descriptions of learning outcomes in accordance with the ECVET principles, as well as WBS Certificates. Information and publicity The results of the project implementation are: - increased skills/abilities required in Applying Professional Nursing Care and Assisting in medical diagnostics and treatment for the 80 participants; - increased opportunities in finding a job in specialized national or European labor market; - learning specialized medical terms in the German language and general vocabulary; - increasing confidence of trainees and mutual respect in relationship with others; - strengthening teamwork skills and professional communication; - increasing the prestige and attractiveness of school curricula of The High school "Radu Miron ", and hence its number of students; - strengthening the institutional capacity of the High school regarding the international projects.
