The project is focused on building the long-term cross-border cooperation between the Polish and Ukrainian NGOs, mainly from the border regions. Usually problems in border areas appear on both sides of the border. Forgotten cemeteries or historical and cultural monuments are located on both sides of the border. There is necessity to eliminate situations in which the border limits the activities of NGOs attempting to resolve a specific problem occurring on both sides of the borderThe overall objective of the project is to develop the cooperation between 60 Polish and Ukrainian NGOs within 24 months. The specific objectives of the project include establishment of NGO cooperation network, generating joint initiatives, increasing the knowledge of Polish and Ukrainian NGOs in the field of their activities and networking opportunities, increasing the transfer of knowledge and know-how between the Polish and Ukrainian NGOs, enhancing the potential of Polish and Ukrainian NGOs, increasing the number of trans-border activities.Implementation of partnership initiatives is a key element of the project, leading to sustained cooperation of the NGOs through joint implementation of initiatives. Each of four working groups will organize one joint initiative within the four themes, such as \"Cemeteries on both sides of Bug River, \"Four Seasons\", \"Historical and cultural monuments of Polish-Ukrainian Polissya\" and \"Civil Society \". The planned activities include workshops, study visits, trips, publications, folk music performance etc. Establishing co-operation network and implementation of joint initiatives by the project partners will produce long-term effects and provide for the project sustainability in the future.
