Date du début: 1 janv. 2015, Date de fin: 31 janv. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project "New VIE: Visual Innovative Education" is a 6 (+1 travel) days training course which has been organized on 11th – 18th of September 2015 in Italy. The project involved 24 participants (Youth Workers, Trainers, Educators, young professionals working with youngsters with fewer opportunities, Project Managers and PR specialists working in NGOs), aged between 22 and 30 years old, including participants with fewer opportunities, coming from 8 Program and Partner countries (Armenia, Georgia, Italy, Lithuania, FYROM Macedonia, Moldova, Poland and Ukraine). New VIE was a follow-up project idea, based mainly on graphic facilitation, visual and creative thinking combined with promotion and visibility of projects in youth work and it was also on how to use graphic facilitation for Project evaluation and reporting phases. Graphic Facilitation implies drawing, storytelling with images, symbols and doodles to make simple the complexity of information. It can be applied in very different situations and with multiple stakeholders. This project aimed at empowering young professionals, in order to import creative and innovative tools and techniques in European Youth Work, making it more attractive for youngsters. Our objectives were: - to promote inclusive and supportive interaction while dealing with activities (presentation, workshops, meetings, debriefings etc.); - to foster creative approach within youth activities; to promote new EU funding opportunities in a visual way; - to develop participants’ skills in graphic recording and visual thinking and other creative techniques; - to support involvement of youngsters with fewer opportunities within youth activities (visual support for deaf people etc.). In order to achieve our aim and objectives we implemented the following activities: Info-graphics (to communicate statistics and quantitative data visually, to make a boring presentation catchy), Graphic recording (to create visual maps of meaning that synthesize the key elements of a speech visually, conveying the message in the most efficient and pleasant way), visual storytelling (to tell stories employing the language of images, using different kind of communicative media such as photography, stop - motion animation, and murals). Different methodology has been used for these activities: presentations, panel discussions, group workshops and simulations, all of them on the frame of non-formal education. Moreover we used the tools and related techniques of graphic facilitation. We assume that as a result the impact of the project will be that participants and participating organisations received new competences and got inspired to use the delivered tools in their daily work and activities, in order to improve and make them more attractive, clear and visible, as well as to raise their quality. Moreover participants gained new skills and competences, those related to intercultural learning and project management.
