Context / background of the project: The project NSNJ2 follows the strategic goals of School Centre Kranj. Strengthening of international activities simultaneously affects all other policies at Kranj School Centre. It supports the development orientation of the school with possibilities for exchange of knowledge, experiences .... It allows the professional development of employees and consequently effects the raising of the quality of the Centre and the performance of MIC.Objectives of the project: - support students in the acquisition of competences within work based learning (PUD) abroad with a view to improving their personal development and employability in the European labour market - support the professional development of professional staff at Kranj School Centre- enhance notably the participants' foreign languages competence;- raise participants' awareness and understanding of other cultures, developing the European dimension, offering them the opportunity to build networks of international contacts- Ensure the recognition of competencies gained through the mobility abroad for students and professional staff - Raise the Kranj School Centre profile as the organization involved in the international cooperation that responds to the needs of individuals and the environment.The number and profile of participants: Mobility will be attended by students (32) and professional staff (18) from School Centre Kranj. For students mobility will be organized in the form of PUD in a real working environment. For professional staff mobility will be derived in two ways:- as accompanying persons of students and- as independent participants in mobility.We will choose the students from third and forth class. They have more knowledge from technical fields and will be able to effectively upgrade their skills. in order to facilitate the coordination of students obligations the international mobility will be organized during their work placement (PUD). Main activities: - Establishing a partnership: The partners are reliable. We allready cooperated with them in similar projects. The main way of comunication is via internet.- Memorandum of Understanding/Letters of Intent have been signed between all participating organizations. We determined requirements for evaluation, validation and recognition of learning outcomes, quality assurance and other aspects of mobilities. - Determination of units of learning outcomes and the related valuation - The signing of agreements between the participants of the learning mobility, sending organization and the host organization - Monitoring the achievement of learning outcomes and their evaluation - Provide evidence of the assessment - Recognition of gained competences to participantsThe methodology of the project The structure of the project: The project will be led by Nataša Kristan Primšar and Sanela Bešič, coordinators from the School Centre Kranj . The project was planed in cooperation with all partners. They all agreed upon the project plan. The Project Manager (Nataša Kristan Primšar and Sanela Bešič) will monitor the achievement of the project objectives and are responsible for reporting and preparation of project documentation in cooperation with the financial department. Quality of the project will be evaluated according to ECVET system. Products of the project will be available for the public free of charge. Problems that will be encountered in the project will solved by the project manager, in cooperation with project partners and stakeholders involved.Description of expected resultsStudents will :- improve their skills in the international business environment ,- employment opportunities of the students in the labor market will enhance ,- gain experiences in the international environment and confirm their knowledge- acquire inter-cultural competences , know how to value and respect their culture and gain tolerance to accept different views of the world.Professional staff will also:- learn about educational systems in the participating organizations,- Experienced greater job satisfaction because of international experience- Gain wider view of the teaching and learning methods.Long-term effectsFor the School Centre Kranj and partner organizations we expect the following long-term effects:- Greater visibility in the local environment- Increased interest for education programs due to the international cooperation- spread of international networks in the field of education and the economy- effective fallow of the educational systems and economy development - students and professional staff acquire new skills and competences that enable better adaptation to the labor market in the international context- added value of the international dimension caused by broadening of the cooperation network, exchange of knowledge and consequently improving the climate in the whole EU.
