Our organization The House of children and youth is in a small town in the East of Bohemia. Our project was targeted the young person who is keen on work with children and youth. This organization managing activities for children and youth in their leisure time in the town and neighboring villages. The project was prepared for one volunteer like a long-term project for 10 months. Volunteer helped with preparation of workshops for children and his project according their interest. Volunteer visited The Special school for disabled children and Basic school for childern with special educational needs. The volunteer assisted and participated in the preparation programs for the children in these organizations. Due to these kind of organization volunteer enriched his experiences in work with disadvantage children. The House of children and youth organized The Open club for young people in age 7-25 three time per week. Volunteers visited this club and prepared short activities(handicraft activities, talks about culture). It was a good opportunity to meet new friends. This project helped to young people to know new people, places or culture, but mainly it helped to volunteer get throught planning activities new competences: Communication in the Czech language, project management, social skills, problem solving skills. These competencies will be able to return to the country to bribe their future professional life.
