Date du début: 1 févr. 2015, Date de fin: 31 janv. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

”New Media Ambassadors 2” (NMA2) was a European Training Course organised in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK from 4th - 11th December 2015. The project gathered youth workers, youth leaders and project managers from Programme Countries (United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Czech Republic, Turkey and Poland) in order to use New Media tools to promote European principles and values. It aimed to build capacity of European youth workers in the field of new media communication. The main objectives of ‘New Media Ambassadors 2” were to empower youth workers to use multimedia tools to fight discrimination and to promote European, to provide new media skills to youth workers in order to use social media tools to improve communication and fundraising activities of their organisations and to stimulate youth workers to cooperate at European level, to share good practices to network in order to raise their organisations advocacy capacity towards other stakeholders. The Training Course was based on the following methods of non-formal education: energizers (simple and funny games which were used to open some sessions when the energy of the participants seemed to be low), name games (in order to facilitate the learning of the other participants names), ice-breakers (games and other activities used to facilitate the non-formal introduction of the participants), brainstorming, debates, teamwork in intercultural subgroups. The project idea came from the youth’s lack of knowledge in this field, on one side, and from the desire of increasing diversity and sophistication of new media tools, on the other side. Both organizers and partners realized they need a common space for meeting people and organisations concerned by these topics, having a theoretical input, sharing good practices and having the opportunity to interact and debate several sensitive topics related to European values (human rights, online security and privacy, democracy, tolerance, equality of chances, non-discrimination). Moreover we are motivated to work further in this field and to establish a long term cooperation in the topic of new media.
