Network for youth mobility

Five associations from Finland, Poland, Italy, France and Germany, which are active in the field of international youth work and up to now cooperated in the frame of international youth exchanges, want to improve and intensify their cooperation. 20 employees and honoraries of the participating associations meet for 6 days in Kassel (Germany) to discuss in the frame of this experts seminar further possibilities of their international cooperation. As future cooperation projects are planned Youth exchanges, further experts seminars regarding to topics which will be selected during this project, the exchange of voluntaries in the frame of European Voluntary Service and International Youth Voluntary Services and individual job shadowing. In the frame of this seminar will be visited facilities of youth work in Kassel and cooperation of the participants will be made practical by doing some cooperation exercises. As the most important part the participating associations will name their professional interests and their ideas concerning international cooperation. In workshops they will develop common aims and ideas for common projects. Concerning the agreed ideas there should made agreements about the next steps and the tasks will be arranged. Aim of the project is to create a network for youth mobility, which cooperates during the following years intensively, organizes youth- and experts exchanges, enables and encourages in particular young people with less opportunities to participate in international projects and receive all competences and skills connected to the participation in international youth work and enables experts and associations to get to know mutually aims, concepts and methods in the fields of youth work, (non formal) youth education, youth culture work, transition from school to job and work with youngsters with less opportunities, which might also result in common conception ideas.
