The main profile of our Youth Association -called “Eleven Europa” -is to organise vocational training projects and also to run and coordinate them. We aim to train students and teachers by integrating them into national and international training programs, preferably financed by EU funds. The present project was related to our previous LdV Vetpro project but we intended to include other national and foreign partners. The aim of our vocational mobilities was: At a consortium level: by a professional and intellectual cooperation we wanted to raise separate school projects and practical trainings at a higher level and make them stronger together. In the project there were 5 Hungarian vocational schools, a German and a Spanish intermediary partners and their networking partners, coordinated by Eleven Europa Youth Association. This cooperation allowed the implementation of a large-scale project that aimed at innovation, modernization and professional development by exchanges of experience and adoption of good practices. The organisation plan of the placements of different participants, length and sectors: In this project the applicant consortium cooperated with a German partner from Berlin and with a Spanish one from Valencia. The German partner was well-known for us from former cooperations in other projects. By including the new Spanish partner we intended to broaden and enrich the partnership circle. We started the project with careful preparation: writing the application, recruiting participants, selecting and preparing them, finalising the work plan, organising the background and mobility. During the 2015/16 academic year 2 groups (1x10 people - Valencia, 1x20 to Berlin) of upper-year vocational students participated in a 3- weeks practical placement by German and Spanish host companies. An accompanying teacher was provided for all student placements to monitor and follow-up the professional programme and provide mental supervision. We organised a 1-week teacher study visit similar to our last year programme, which was highly welcome by the schools and the colleagues. This time 10 vocational training teachers from the consortium participated in the workshop. The topics were the following: comparison of the German and Hungarian education systems, overview of the application possibilities cofinanced by the EU, their efficiency and integration into the national education, exchange of ideas. In all mobility groups we aimed to raise the participants’ level of professional knowledge by getting them to acquire new technical methods, to deepen their existing knowledge, acquire new perspectives and possibly learn new methods or machines. Beyond professional competencies it was very important to improve the participants’ personality and other competencies such as independence, precision, responsability and decision making. General objectives in all target groups were to improve accomodation to new realities, to improve creativity, language learning,team-building, team-work, learning about acceptance and putting intercultural learning into practice. A major objective was that all participants could recognise the benefits of international vocational training projects supported by the German and Spanish partners that are very experienced in the field of vocational trainings. The students and teachers had the opportunity to learn about the German/Spanish Secondary school system, they could exchange experiences, ideas and good practices. By the improvement of the mentioned competencies and by the definition of the learning outcomes the results and their incorporation into the life of the institution and the individual could be measured easily. The international vocational training programmes did not only offer professional development for both students and teachers but were very important for the schools, as well. The well- trained teachers and students can improve the standard of education at the schools. The new technics acquired during the training can be integrated in the everyday life of the schools and can provide students skills they need to succeed in their future professional carrier and perform high quality work at their workplace. At consortium level, participating in this application led to a long term cooperation of vocational schools of similar sectors, and gave opportunity for schools to collaborate on prosperous national and international projects.
