This Project is the answer to growing demand of our teachers, who understand that employing of new technologies in the teaching process is an essential factor which enables to maximize teacher efficacy as well as makes the lessons more attractive and straightforward for the students. Teachers are aware that a new curriculum for extra classes is needed for students’ better development. Our teachers are aware of the need to improve their language skills as they are insufficient to fully benefit from the unlimited cultural, technological and social resources of contemporary global world. The project will take place in several stages: preparation of the application corresponding to the needs of the facility, submitting it to the National Agency, searching for partners of the project, making contact, recruitment of the participants, individual preparation of the teachers in the area of a foreign language and culture, organization of trips, training and monitoring, evaluation of the results, implementation of acquired skills, dissemination of the results. The results of the project (besides certificates confirming acquired skills) will be: the development of vocational competences and language skills of the teachers, increase in the quality of education, which should lead to better exam results, increased interest in studying foreign languages, perception of the school in the local environment as the place where difficult and ambitious tasks are undertaken and the institution which is open to Europe’s cultural diversity. Having completed the workshop the teachers will share their observations and knowledge during the teachers meetings and their experiences will be published on an ongoing basis on the school website, the city council website and in the local paper. Local community will have the opportunity to learn about the results of the project during school meetings, open events, e.g. School Open Day, via Internet websites and educational platforms.
