Teacher’s responsibility is to prepare young people to live in a multicultural society. Therefore, he or she has to make a constant effort to understand the world so that he or she does not feel lost, especially in the world of transformation. School and their teachers have to be open-minded to exterior contacts because their students function in this world. The teacher in a modern school has to be students’ guide and adjust to present realities if he or she wants to have a real impact on them. Teachers have to educate, improve their skills and extend their key competences which each person needs to fulfill and develop personally, increase their active citizenship, social inclusion and employment. We would like to increase the quality of work, especially the skills and qualifications of the teaching staff and introduce new tools and methods in teaching science and foreign languages. We would like to develop, raise qualifications and gain new abilities. Our staff will enrich their skills through introduction of new European teaching techniques, among others cooperative learning, the ability to use digital learning facilities, active teaching methods which will increase students’ motivation as well as our language abilities to overcome barriers of communication. Cooperative learning will support the teaching of science through creating opportunities to examine information gained by students or practicing their skills. Improvement of language skills is necessary to survive in a contemporary world. Moreover, thanks to the knowledge of the language we would be able to use from the European resources, meet the teachers from the foreign countries and exchange experiences. We would become partners for our students in modern, digital Europe. All those activities will enable us to enrich the teaching of subjects such as maths, history, geography, physics and foreign languages. We will be able to motivate the students to work and treat a foreign language not as subject to teach but also as a necessary tool to work in a contemporary world The aim of the project is: • To increase the level of English knowledge by all participants which will enable us to take part in various trainings, workshops, observing different schools from the European Union during their work, supervising the students during school exchanges or foreign projects, using from numerous Internet educational resources available in English • To extend skills by modern European teaching techniques, including cooperative learning, the ability to use from digital learning facilities and active teaching methods that increase students’ motivation • To improve the results of teaching science • To increase the level of openness to other cultures through being present in multicultural surrounding • To improve interpersonal skills and abilities of team work and mutual teaching • To improve the abilities to assess our own work and methods due to the possibility of observing the newest teaching techniques • To expand the educational offer and preparing lessons in which we will use cooperative teaching, international cooperation and various actions promoting the use of foreign language, information technology skills and knowledge of different subjects • To establish cooperation and find new possibilities and inspirations for further activities and new projects • To introduce new tools and teaching methods to preparie regular knowledge of profession lessons, so that we will help our students to choose their secondary school consciously • To prepare workshops referring to creativity and creative thinking as well as to effective learning, that is constant development and personal fulfillment, striving for conscious existence in European society and professional development. The participation in the projectwill increase the European dimension of our school. The cooperation with other countries,participation in trainings, improvement of language competences will affect the raising of quality of the offered services. The certificates that we will receive, that is Europass-Mobility will confirm our acquired and developed skills on a European level. The teachers will courageously seek new partner to cooperate with, and do projects with the students, for instance within the scope of eTwinning projects and organize students’ exchanges. There will be an increase of the quality within all these scopes. The participants of the project will receive the certificates confirming the participation in the project, issued by the institution and Europass-Mobility documents confirming acquiredand developed skills. The participants of the project will prepare the materials and digital presentation from the foreign training containing the conclusions based on our observations, workshops, lectures, meetings and discussions. The materials will be distributed during the meetings in our local and regional surrounding.
