The representatives of the partners involved in the project set the common objectiveof jointly protecting and mutually promoting the fauna and flora of the borderregion. Owing to the support, the residents of both countries can visit those naturalattractions which were difficult to access many years ago due to political restrictions. Anattractive-quality, bilingual book was issued in the framework of the project in Romanianand Hungarian, in 2,700 copies, illustrated with a lot of pictures, on top of which a CDROMhas been designed to promote all the natural treasures that may be found in theregion of the Körös rivers and River Maros. Geographically, the region consists of BékésCounty and part of Arad County situation on a plain.
