"Natura es mi cultura" is a volunteer project in which 16 young people come in summer to support different projects of De Amiticia. Mostly they will be involved in volunteering activities of the Alliance Network, but also they will have the opportunity to participate in beekeeping projects, tree planting and street theater (project Donkey Caravan) in addition to other work of the Association.To do this, they will be for at least 5-15 days immersed in our activity in the Sierra Norte de Madrid, contacting the way we work and the project they choose, and participating in practical and theoretical training. Later on, young people will travel through the geography of our community and environment, supporting the coordination and implementation of campaigns and volunteering fields other projects, enjoying a series of intense experiences acting leaders and supportive of each project. In this period also they undertake work of monitoring and evaluation of projects and also through outreach workshops for non-formal education. The last phase will aim volunteering their evaluation and dissemination of these projects. Throughout the project and seeing the characteristics of them, young people also support structural activities of the association as part of beekeeping and agriculture that our entity.We will be involving seven young people with fewer opportunities and one with special needsIt is an ambitious project that aims to involve a higher number of young people in an intense experience of volunteering that will impact very positively in our organization and in personal and social development of young people themselves.
