Schools in Czudec completed planned in April 2016 internship of participants of the project "Our future in our hands" in Rimini located in the sea area in Italy. The main objectives of the project were: to raise professional skills of students, learning the Italian language, to deepen knowledge of the English language, to establish international contacts, getting to know other cultures, customs, getting confirmation of skills in the form of a certificate Europass Mobility, strengthening synergies. The internship was attended by 18 participants: 10 students of technical nutrition and food services faculty, and 8 students of technical constructions faculty. The project was implemented in three stages: preparation, mobility and dissemination of results. In preparatory stage, students held a basic course in Italian language, mastered their knowledge of the English language by holding meetings about mentality and culture. During the 4-week mobility students did internships in Italian restaurants and construction company. Stay in Italy was based on the performance of professional tasks by the host establishments, as well as getting to know the culture of the region and practicing language skills in different situations at work and everyday life. All these situations have given them the opportunity to establish international contacts. After completing the internship participants received certificates from employers. After returning, participants used material collected during stay abroad and prepared: a multimedia presentation, an exhibition of photos from their stay, photobook, leaflets, a calendar for the school year 2016/2017 including food and provisions of the Italian cuisine, which will be prepared and served in the new school year to consumers at Practical Training Centre. Dissemination of results of the project takes the form of demonstrations and tasting events, at the Practical Training Centre which functions as a caterer. The local community learns about the results of the project from a local newspaper, websites, social networking websites, flyers and activity of students in the Practical Training Centre at the School of Czudec. As a result of the project in improving students' skills: organization of the workplace, preparing Italian dishes (especially important is the fact that they have access to raw materials, which in Poland because of our area of residence and geographic location are hard to reach or inaccessible, we are talking about frutti di mare). In addition, matching equipment and catering equipment, organoleptic assessment of Italian cooking, decorating and expedition of foods, team cooperation, using a foreign language, independence were practiced. Acquired competence has been confirmed by following documents: certificate of completion of internship from the employer and the host company and the Europass Mobility. The project "Our future in our hands" assumed an increase in professional mobility of students, which in the future is to help them locate themselves on the European labor market and overcome shyness, language and financial barriers.
