Nascholingscursus in Canterbury, Engeland
Date du début: 15 oct. 2016, Date de fin: 14 oct. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

At Brede School Rembrandt we have a professional staff which is convinced of the accession of the English language as part of our daily teaching program. In the last five years we have innovated English in our curriculum. This process has been lead by the English coördinator.A large number of our staff went to the Methodolody and Language Course for Primary Teachers Level 1 in 2012. With the entire team we took part in a refresh course (basis grammar and vocabulary) by two English secondary school teachers (both native speakers), this took place in 2014. We feel the need to take English to a higher level yet again and a refresh Language course Level 2 in Canterbury is of the essence.VVTO English is of high importance in our long-range plan here at Brede School Rembrandt. It is of the essence that the teaching level of our collega's meets this high standard. Our view on English is: more, better and early English education for our children. However, we have to conclude that our communication skills are not solide enough to develop at the level we would like to maintain for our school. This for the English lessons aswell as integrating English in other subjects. We will attend the Level 2 course with 17 teachers. Our goal is to have achieved the following:* to increase our communication and grammar skills* return with tips for methodolody and didactic* received more comprehension of CLIL* learned option for integrating English with other subjects* to increase our reading, writing and listening skillsAfter returning from the Level 2 course we will give feedback to the other schools in our management so they can profit from our acquired knowledge aswell.English will be a recurring factor during teacher study days. During these study days the progress in communication skills will be covered. We will, once again, be supported by native speakers from secondary school.English will remain in development at our school under the direction of the English coördinator and the English workgroup.
