For the year 2014, EFEE has prepared an ambitious Work Programme in order to enhance our role as European sectoral social partner in Education and our close link with DG EAC. This Programme consists of 6 pillars, which are interlinked. They are since a couple of years the basis of our work. Purposes of all activities: inform our members, inform the EC on our members’ view, influence EC policy, exchange information and knowledge of/by members, networking. The programme has been discussed and agreed by the EFEE’s General Assembly on 13 March 2014, thus representing the priorities, needs and ideas expressed by our members.I Participation in DG EAC TWGs:New in 2014 is that members of EFEE and EFEE secretariat take part in five ET2020 Thematic Working Groups of DG EAC. The EFEE secretariat coordinates and prepares involvement/ input. Feedback and output from these WG is communicated to all EFEE members through newsflashes, during the social dialogue meetings (pillar II) and during General Assembly meetings (meetings self are reimbursed by DG EAC, but staff costs are not). II Social Dialogue working groups (WG)Together with European Trade Union Committee for Education (ETUCE), we have planned the following WGs for the benefit of EFEE and ETUCE members in Brussels (meetings self are reimbursed by DG EMPL, but staff costs not).• WG 4 April; theme a.o.
