EFEE proposes an ambitious WP in order to raise awareness on and increase commitment to the EU policy agenda in education and training, inform EC on our members’ view, influence EC policy, exchange information of members, network. This WP consists of 7 pillars, which are interlinked and exist since 2013. New this year is the Peer Learning Activity Pillar (pillar VI). WP has been discussed and agreed by the General Assembly of 5 November 2014, thus representing the priorities and ideas expressed by our members.I Participation in DG EAC TWGs:Since 2013, members of EFEE and secretariat take part in five ET2020 WGs of DG EAC. The secretariat coordinates input. Output of these WGs are communicated to all members through newsflashes, during the social dialogue meetings (pillar II) and General Assembly meetings (WGs self are reimbursed by DG EAC, but staff costs are not). II Social Dialogue WGs:We planned following WGs for EFEE and ETUCE members in Brussels (meetings self are reimbursed by DG EMPL, but staff costs not).• WG 9 March; theme a.o. Schools of 21st century: supporting a new generation of educators by enhancing the professional profile of teachers, trainers. Dissemination of outcomes of 2014 project on Effective School leadership• WG 29 June; theme Higher Education & Research • WG 25 Nov; theme a.o Opening Up Education: innovative teaching III EC Consultations & policy papers • Expected 2 public consultations by EC• EFEE position paper on the economic case for education and training in the Europe2020 context• Policy recommendations on ”Autonomous, accountable and efficient School Leadership”• Policy recommendations on “Supporting early career researchers”IV Enhanced partnerships activities• Continue as member in European Policy Network on School Leadership• Participate in Education committee of the Council of Ministers• Ensure representation of Education sector at cross-sectoral social partner meetings with CEEP• Prepare joint declarations with CEEP ahead of Tripartite Social Summits• Take part in the Public Services Employers meetings to link with other sectors• Promote link VET with labour market through conference on the role of the education sector in improving the quality of apprenticeships, for EFEE members dealing with VET• Organise involvement project on Work related stress to promote peer learning and professionalisation of teachers (travel costs funded by DG EMPL, not staff costs)V Capacity Building activities:• General Assembly (2)• EFEE Executive Committee meetings (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4)(on Business Plan & MEP meeting, WP with unions)• Recruit new members to reinforce network and spread activities • Training of existing and potential members on EU Policies and European Sectoral Social Dialogue in education (4 p/y a.o. CZ, EE, LV, PL, ES)VI Peer Learning Activities• PLA to UK on Employability and transition between education and the labour market • PLA to NL on Promoting Excellence and Innovation and supporting new generation of educators• Study Visit to EPVII Dissemination and communication activities• Survey in January on wish-list/ division of tasks/ dissemination results.• Dissemination of outcomes of work under other pillars (recommendations, joint declarations, statements, guidelines, best practices, publications, brochures).• News-flash with info of DG EAC, DG RTD and DG EMPL• LinkedIn and Twitter updates • Dissemination of Education Council conclusions • EFEE Annual Report
