My Challenge, Action and Spirit in EVS

Project "My Challenge, Action and Spirit in EVS" (My C.A.S.E) takes place from 1th of August 2015 till 1th of November 2016. The coordinator of the project is NGO Öökull (Estonia) Aim of the project is the development of intercultural dialogue, increasing the involvement of young people with less opportunities, which improves young people's awareness of human rights in a broader and narrower sense of citizenship, and to increase their activity in the democratic life and expands their understanding of the opportunities in the labor market. The target group of the project is14 unemployed youngsters between 17-26 yrs old with less opportunities by reasons of social or educational reasons. The activities of EVS will carry out in 2 sessions: 1th session for 2 long-term EVS volunteers in NGO Öökull 1.09.2015-31.05.2016, sending organisations are ProAtlântico - Associação Juvenil from Portugal and UNIVERSIDAD DE SALAMANCA from Spain. The activities will take place in Tartu Annelinna Children Centre and Kambja Youth Centre in Tartu county. 2th session for 12 short-term EVS volunteers in NGO Öökull 27.06-25.08.2016, sending organisations are Vereniging tot Jeugdbescherming 'Wingerdbloei' from Belgium, Asociación para la integración y Progreso de las Culturas Pandora from Spain, JAUNATNE PAR from Latvija, Dansk ICYE from Denmark, Peco - Progetti Europei di Cooperazione from Italy, Actio Catholica Patria from Lithuania. The activities will take place in Öökull´s summer camps in Southern part of Estonia. This project involves the voluntary youth to work in the area to try and experiment with different inclusion and learning methods to organize activities that develop in the former planning, motivation, participation, cooperation and organization skills, which create their knowledge in civil society and turn strengthens the self-confidence in their own abilities and coping worms, making them better informed and more entrepreneurial in the labor market.
