Participants of project Music above divisions is a group of young Poland, Italy, Czech Repulic, Latvia, Bulgaria who are interested in music, playing an instruments, singing and writing songs’ lyrics. Moreover, they are open to other cultures and would like to participate in social and civil life actively and influence the future of common Europe. The leading subject of project is the music, tolerance and wide concept of European citizenship. The main aim of project is promotion of European cooperation, tolerance and variety of cultures and development of civil activity among the young people. Furthermore, we would like to exchange experience and musical abilities with neighbors, development our creativity, interpersonal talents, increase our competence to work in a team and engage in activities against discrimination, prejudices and stereotypes.We are going to make use of non-formal and informal educational methods to execute the task. We will obtain the knowledgeand practical abilities during the project’s work, workshops, discussions, plays and time, which we will spend together.The results of our work will be:- increase of consciousness of European citizenship,- integrating the participants of the Action, strengthening the co-operation,- broadening the knowledge about culture, customs and tradition of a partner state,- musical education,- the exchange of experiences between participants,- increasing the intercultural skills,- strengthening interpersonal abilities, sensitivity, independence and openness towards others in every participant of the project,- preparing joint compositions/songs (non-discriminatory lyrics) and releasing a CD, which promote active citizenship,- youthpass certificates for participants.
