EVS Project "Muxelka Volunteers Theory" was initiated by Asociacion Cultural Muxelka together withla APA Xanela del CEIP María Pita y la APA María Casares del IES Elviña from A Coruña, Spain. The project is a sort of sociological experiment at European level. Its purpose is to confirm the equation E = MC2, where E is Europe, M is the mobility and C is the human capital. At the core of the EU is the possibility of free mobility without restrictions. The project aims to increase European awareness and consciousness on the mobility that bring educational programs of the CE.When working with youth and children of A Coruña, volunteers will have the opportunity to gain new experiences. Our goal is to demonstrate that the European volunteering contributes to the strengthening of human capital. And this is a guideline of the basic principles of the EU. This is the spirit underlying the program + E, along with the conviction that human capital is the greatest wealth of the Union.The project is aimed at providing a promotion of the European mobility activities, non-formal education and intercultural learning opportunities to young people from A Coruña but also a volunteers from the Poland, Italy, Germany, Croacia and Russia. It is part of a current local project of the coordinating and receiving organization Asociación Cultural Muxelka (www.muxelka.org) that mainly works on increasing European awareness at the local level.Sending organizations involved are: Polish R. Schuman Foundation and Fundacja Rozwoju Spoleczenstwa Przedsiebiorczego from Poland, Associazione Culturale Eufemia from Italy, Jugendwerk der AWO Wuerttemberg e.V. from Germany, Udruga za pomoc mladima "HELP" from Croacia and SFERA Movement from Russia.This project includes 6 EVS volunteers to be hosted in the project in A Coruña, Spain for 3 hosting organizations: Asociación Cultural Muxelka, APA Xanela del CEIP María Pita and APA María Casares del IES Elviña.An individual Service lasts for 9 months starting in October 2016.Target group of this project are children form 3 to 12 years old and young people aged 13 to 35 from the A Coruña and whole Galicia, while the activities include various workshops in the foreign languages, European mobility as a tool reinforcement of human capital, spirit of entrepreneurship and professional development.Current project aims to give young people more skills, competences and knowledge for their future prospective in order to be more competitive in the labor market and also fosters international learning and mutual understanding.Main objectives of the EVS Project:- To increase European awareness at the local level- Promotion of entrepreneurship among youth- To promote European mobility and opportunities which offers Erasmus+ Programme;- To promote diversity of Europe, its culture and languages;- To exchange of European art, culture, tradition and customs between the regions. Volunteers will have an opportunity to - work in the new country and environment;- learn or improve a new language (Spanish);- increase his/her European awardnees;Methods that will be used are: workshops, discussions, consults, games, brainstorming, work in groups, individual work, blogging etc.
