The project that the Municipality of S. Stefano di Camastra intends to present is a bilateral youth exchange with the "Liceum Nauka -1870" in Bulgaria. The activivities of the project will take place in a municipal hall in S. Stefano di Camastra. It will last 6 days + 2 of travel, from the 20th to the 27th of June 2016.There will be 20 youth + 2 careers for group. The title pf the project is: Music for integration. The issue is that of isolation and social exclusion of young people and the music as a means to redeem themselves. Unfortunately we live in a small reality where there are few services for youth (libraries, meeting places that are not bar, internet café) and far from larger and culturally more active cities. What follows is that you spend your free time in an unhealthy way feeling a sense of frustration and isolation.Devote himself to music, sing and dance, helps to express their emotions, their creativity and reflects some aspects of life. Indeed, music plays an important social function and contributes to personal growth. Not coincidentally our activities during the exchange (role playing, brainstorming, workshops, informal speeches) , through a non-formal methodology, will focus on this issue and contribute to the personal and social development of the subjects: awareness and acceptance of new cultures, active European citizenship, improving English language skills, greater self-confidence, creativity. The activities, in fact, end with the creation of a choreography based on a song about peace and brotherhood among people that youth will also sing in front of an audience, one evening. During this evening, of course, there will be also have a brief presentation of the project, Erasmus +, and the results obtained. In this evening even citizenship will be invited because we want that our project reaches a good impact not only among the direct participants. We want that also people outside can become aware of the results and disseminate them.
