Project will take place on 1.5.-30.9.2012 in Pori, Finland. We want to fight racism by integrating migrant youth to the local society by getting them to local youth houses. In this project we co-operate with NetzWerk, a sending organisation in Liechtenstein and their volunteers. On this project there will be anouther volunteer from Italy. So an international team work is ensured.In our youth house in Väinölä volunteers will implement twice a week multicultural evening; in close co-operation with local migrants’ organisation Satakunnan Monikulttuuriyhdistys. Secondly volunteer will participate in the work of SPR (local Red Cross) and their activity group for asylum seekers and refugees. Thirdly volunteers will make co-operation with local municipial youth houses to organise multicultural evenings. Fourthly volunteer will create co-operation network with local youth and sport organisations to deliver information about activities they offer for migrant youth.Fifthly volunteer will co-operate with local schools to deliver there information about migrants and the reasons, why they have come to Finland.
