From 15th to 29th of July, 2016, we will carry out an international youth exchange in Bärnau-Altglashütte (Oberpfalz) and invite a total of 40 youngsters and their leader from Israel, Czech Republic, Croatia and Germany at the age of 16-25 years. The subject of the youth exchange is: » move on 4. get connected « Remembering the past, taking responsibility today, shaping the future.We will carry out for the first time such a youth exchange with a total of four partners, after these ideas from the up to now bilateral contacts and cooperation has originated. With the youth meeting we want to take up the complicated subject of the intercultural and interreligious cooperation and work on past, present and future together from three temporal perspectives. Based on this timeline, the young people develop strategies on the experiences in their own countries and today's context and take responsibility for the future as young people. Besides, the concrete ideas which take into account the European thought of acceptance of dissenters, the fusion of different countries, variety of culture and religion and the life with each other in peace are developed. At the end of the youth exchange, which will also contain the visit to the concentration camp memorial in Flossenbürg, will be the presentation of a performance in Weiden, which is acquired and developed by the youth together and during the meeting itself. For this, we also expect the contact with the citizens on the ground and also local politicians will be invited.
