motion of the Culture of Fruits and Research of bioactive plants in the perspective of the protection and integrated production
(INTERFRUTA)
The main objective of this project is to increase the interest for the fruticultura, in special in the Terceira island (Azores). It is intended to strengthen the cooperation within the involved Regions, with the exchange of biological experiences and joint inquiry that allows to supply the lack of knowledge on the relationship of some illnessess with the edafo-climatic factors that condition the productivity, through a first approach to the determination of favorable areas for the installation of new plantations and valuation of the existing plantations improving the production and diminishing the importation of fruits.
