The project aims at the preservation of environmental sustainability by reducing the use of irrigation water and chemicals in the greenhouse, as well as the protection of soil and water resources.Aeroponic culture, as a technique of soilless culture, will reduce the use of chemicals (nitrates and heavy metals) that cause pollution of groundwater and soil and the "stress" due to intensive agriculture. Expected Results: Strengthening cooperation and enhancement of expertise will be provided through the realization of a showroom in Ragusa and a pilot greenhouse in Manouba. Project activities will be aimed at improving knowledge and specialization of human resources and accessibility to information. Other activities are related to specific training for technicians in the agricultural sector, with a series of seminars and information sessions, as well as the realization of an information desk.
