The general objective of the project is to develop the co-operation networking among youth organisations at the level of various youth institutions with the view of creating conditions for the long-term cooperation between the young people from Alytus and Suwalki, improving and making attractive the youth cultural environment, promoting the popularisation of youth subculture trend, and enhancing the activities of local youth communities.The main activities of the project consist of:1. Organisation and carrying out of introductory visits, workshops and conferences for youth-oriented workers of the local administration, youth clubs, youth centres, youth public organisations and representatives based in Alytus and Suwalki;2. Organisation of the Youth Arts Festival for young artists from Alytus and Suwalki to be held in Alytus. Overall number of youth representatives as participants is set to be 200, including 100 artists from Alytus and 100 artists from Suwalki;3. Drawing up and organising of publication of a brochure on both formal and informal youth organisations based in Alytus and Suwalki, traditional events for youth, and actual policy regarding the youth (an edition of 2000 copies in Lithuanian, Polish and English); etc.
