MOST European
Date du début: 1 août 2016, Date de fin: 31 mai 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

MOST European is project that aims to discuss and promote ‘most European’ values and democratic legacy as well to build ‘most’ (Slavic word for bridge) among young people across the continent. In the age when European Union and its neighbors are facing not only economic crisis, but also social issues, freedom of movement issues, refugee crisis and even armed conflict on the east, European values and many European achievements are vulnerable. Young people are more and more radical and xenophobic and less and less tolerant, critical, active and open minded. Therefore, this project was created by youth of partner organisations and its staff and it has following objectives:- to gather 42 young people from very diverse European countries and provide them with opportunity to discuss and learn about youth perspectives on European integrations, EU enlargement and future of Europe;- to educate young people about European values and empower them to be peer educators and promoters of those values among their friends;- to facilitate constructive and critical participation of young people through proposing policy reforms, claiming rights and democratization of decision making process in accordance to EU and national law and standards,- to develop resources for youth work and provide experience to participants and organisations involved needed for implementation of local activities regarding European values and integrationAchievement of those objectives will contribute to building and shaping future of Europe based on legacy that we have and taking into consideration needs that European youth have today. Main and only mobility activity of the project will be Youth Exchange that will be hosted in Uzgorod, Ukraine from 31/03/2017 until 08/04/2017 and will gather 42 young people and group leaders from Croatia, Italy, Poland, Turkey, Serbia, Ukraine and Georgia. Each group will consist 5 young people and 1 group leader. Participants will be both those that are already involved in activities of organisations, but also those that did have opportunity to take part in activities, particularly international activities. Venue of the project - Uzgorod, town located in Western Ukraine, 3 km from Slovak (EU and Schengen border) is very appropriate for such activity since local community is very pro European, while there are in east of Ukraine still political issues going on. Different non formal education methods will be used such as simulations, exercises, discussions, debates, visits, group work, etc. Each group will be in charge to facilitate part of the program using materials and instructions provided.
