Rechercher des projets européens

MOOV
Date du début: 1 juil. 2014, Date de fin: 30 juin 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Our mobility project, which highlights the European and international dimension in our school has been renewed annually since 2001. At first, his project was aimed exclusively at Terminales students in the European section English class, whether they study sales, commerce, reception or office administration. Now it is also open to all other students willing to train abroad. The 2014 ERASMUS + project involves 25 young people - 16 girls and 9 boys from all socio-economic backgrounds - who have had the opportunity to perform their training abroad. Yet, for this edition, as planned in our original project, most of these young people are enrolled in European class. Two destinations were preferred these two past years, the United Kingdom (England and Scotland) and Malta. For strictly linguistic reasons (corresponding to the requirements of the European section), we choose to work only with English-speaking partners. The project responds primarily to a strong desire to encourage young people to travel and train abroad, thus adding value to the future graduates curriculum, allowing them to study longer and hope for better employment. In the UK, we work primarily with our own partners, with whom years of collaboration helped forge lasting links for personalized training and monitoring . However, for this first experience on the island of Malta, we turned to a partner organization, which allowed us to find suitable companies matching the level and training sectors of our students. The steering committee of our school, consisting of the administrative staff and teachers, ensures the quality of placements and personal projects of the students, also ensures equal opportunities for all and supports young people all throughout their project, from birth to completion through the implementation. Thus, the teachers involved in the project provide support, monitor and evaluate. The results of this project have exceeded all our expectations since the success rate for both diplomas were 100% the past two years and the students graded such high scores that it allowed almost all candidates to get an extra mention with their Baccalauréat professionnel, and therefore opportunities to study in university. Moreover, this success creates a growing calling for training abroad amongst students and colleagues. Thus, after developing our existing partnerships – such as the one with the Michelin manufacture, we plan to open new ones in other European destinations.
