According to Eurostat data from 2011, home of nearly 40% of Slovenians is in overcrowded. Individual countries resolve housing problems by residential programs where a key measure is construction fund for non-profit housing. In Europe, countries on average invest in non-profit housing 0.54% of GDP in Slovenia is 0.04% of GDP. Although Slovenes for the first time in its history live in their own territory, access to their own home, esspecially for young people who generate their family is almost impossible. Buying a decent housing represents an immense burden that young people can not afford without the help of relatives or life-long predatory loan. The second option offers a tenancy (in Slovenia, a high percentage of the black market), and often offered a man unworthy, insecure, often in old furnished apartments. Consequently, there is a third, the most recently used option that young people do not leave home, which has a significant implications for the society in the field of creation and the quality of life of young families. With same situation we are facing in the Municipality of Celje. The applicant, Nepremičnine Celje d. o. o., together with the Municipality of Celje, Celje Grammar School Center, Klub students of Celje and Celje Youth Centre, presents the project Let's go on our own.
