Modernizace výuky v ZŠ Liptál
Date du début: 1 juil. 2014, Date de fin: 30 juin 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Our school is a small primary school in a small village called Liptál in the Czech Republic. Our pupils come not only from Liptál but also from other villages. A part of them are children from the local children’s home. Children whose parents do not want them or are not able to take care of them live in the children’s home. Most of them have a lot of problems including educational. Our school is searched by parents whose children were diagnosed with specific learning disability. These children need a family school with friendly atmosphere and which guarantees individual approach to them. The school management and teachers have to react to this situation and adapt the school education programme. We have to ensure the development to our talented pupils to be able to study at prestigious schools. Recently we have to react to an increasing number of problem children. We are looking for new methods and techniques to be able to motivate children who are not very successful at school and sometimes unhappy in their lives. We must help them to develop their individual abilities. The headmaster has chosen a course, for English teachers, which is concentrated on children with special needs. She herself teaches English and supposes that new pieces of knowledge help her not only with her work during lessons but also with school organisation. Another teacher at our school works with children with special needs during ambulatory correction.. However these children need special methods and individual approach during all their lessons and during their school life. All the teachers must help them during their lessons. Therefore the headmaster considers this course as very useful. She wants to realize the changes and look for ways how to help these children. She believes that new pieces of knowledge help her to start the changes. The problem that most of schools in our republic face is that children do not like to learn science subjects especially mathematics. First of all it relates to children with special needs. Therefore our teacher is going to take part in the course oriented on these subjects and which should make the curriculum accessible by outdoor activities. We gladly accept to get know how to organize such activities, new ideas and methods. We hope that children outside will be happier and they will learn by games. We are ready to test new knowledge and their effect on children. We are ready to change our school education programme too. There will also be a lot of opportunities to talk about these problems and their solving with other course participants. Our teachers welcome the opportunity to practise English too.
