Turkey in beekeeping, is made from the socio-economic activities as a tradition since ancient years. Taking place in the presence of hives and hive presence of 4 million due to have honey production in Turkey and in the world with 63 thousand tons due to 3rd and 4th place among the most important countries in the world in terms of production as well as honey. However, this despite significant improvements, the average honey production per hive in our country is 16 kg and 20 kg, which is below the world average. However, Turkey's world honey hive owned entity with a share of 10th place in 1.87'lik% in trade and honey are used to adapt the production. Our share in world trade and honey as well as honey per colony Considering our production arises can not benefit enough from the current beekeeping potential that our countries. Not be dependent on the soil, can be made with less capital and other branches of agriculture use less than their workforce is especially important characteristics of our beekeeping, which releases the foreground. Bitlis province has growing plant species anywhere in the world. In our region made beekeeping about 600 villages and 4,500 tons of honey is produced from a total of 250 thousand barrel. The average honey production per hive Despite these advantages are below the world average. The biggest reason for this is the lack of adequate production of queen bees. Training by various institutions in the queen bee production has started to give. However, it is insufficient knowledge about beekeeping has been determined that 93% of beekeepers and go further than they thought to document the training provided.
Bitlis province has very favorable conditions for beekeeping, though not yet fully benefit from these resources. Of the most important problems to be solved, particularly in our region is one of beekeeping breeding. This solution is to acquire the habit of using bee breeders have been breeding queens problem and that they have a professional knowledge they need to grow. Livestock and other agricultural production and the share of production costs in the technical knowledge of education is around 8-10%, 70-80% of these shares are held as in beekeeping. Therefore, it is necessary to provide continuing education services for beekeepers. This area is very developed with the amount of honey per hive obtained in EU countries is quite a lot. The biggest reason for the production of fertile queen bee and is obtained as a result of efficient products. This project is of growing importance recently with beekeepers and learn modern techniques applied in all EU countries and aims to increase the production of honey per hive obtained. In addition, modern methods of extending the protection of genetic resources in our country, the world's most important center of bee genes will be provided. At the same time increase the quality of training of the troops operating in the area to ensure that sustainable beekeeping of these developments.
Our participants on the project; The importance of queen bees use in beekeeping, using chemicals on bees, feeding subjected quality with bees in cultural plants, professional organization with honey plants and issues such as rotational power, the type of benefit from the funds of the beekeepers and funding amounts and learn how to transfer that information to bee producers. The Adilcevaz County Food Agriculture and Livestock Directorate, beekeeping management systems, bee diseases and pests, feeding bees, bee family in preventive medicine, bees wintering, manufacturer of the need for information how to troubleshoot, how the implementation of a training method, manufacturers how it is supported, the creation of the subject flora will learn the role of the public, as well as Germany to perform the activity, Belgium and its place in the sector of farmer organizations and professional organizations in Austria, how to learn they perform in-service training of place in farmer training of public institutions and technical staff. Opportunities for mutual cooperation between public institutions and civil society organizations and cultural communication path will be investigated.
