Globalization has led our establishment to develop internationally: inter- school exchanges, internships abroad for the students and the teachers, strengthening in the learning of foreign languages, active participation in European programs, participation in international and national development and cooperation programs, support to French companies wishing to settle abroad. Our school which trains students for the catering industry, hospitality industry as well as in bakery and pastry is known for being a centre of excellence in Normandy, as well as in France and worldwide. To reach this aim, our school will rely on the following elements:-The Erasmus program is an essential part of the different training courses available in the school and it is also part of the annual school project (ongoing rewriting).-Our priority is to facilitate the mobility of studying and training for our students and foreign students too. Over the last 15 years we have had exchanges with catering schools in many countries, internships in and outside Europe is deeply incited by the local education academic authorities (a department helps the students find and organize their work placement abroad).-Some specific activities carried out with our European partners will be developed or reinforced: training actions, participation in Erasmus + projects in association with AFLYHT, involvement of the school in actions that enhance Europe, involvement in the local catering school network.-The progressive development of partnerships in favor of the training towards underprivileged, unqualified or handicapped youngsters in the catering industry and in Tourism (ULIS).-The persons concerned are both the pupils and students.-Of course, our partners are chosen in the same field as ours, (OSAO in Finland, Escuela Superior de Hostelería y de Turismo in Madrid, Istituto Professionale Falcone in Italy...)-The details for the implementation of the actions for European and international cooperation projects will be written in our annual school project that is currently being rewritten and will be implemented as soon as next school year in September 2016.-We also wish to reinforce our links with Italy and Germany: 2 countries Normandy has already developed many economic and cultural relationships with. We thus have at our disposal a number of businesses in Normandy, Germany and Italy ready to greet some of our students for their internship either through community programs or partnerships with professionals. To finish, in the years to come, we have to put the stress on the development of our links with Wales, Scotland and Ireland, English being the key language in the catering and hospitality industries. We plan to set up a bank of work placements with Wales, Scotland and London.-In the same way, we intend to set up a network of trainers who will exchange innovating professional and educational experiences. In our school, the mobile voluntary teachers are selected by the Bureau of International Relations.-Every action that could reinforce the access to higher education and that could develop the social aspect of our training courses will be encouraged particularly regarding underprivileged or handicapped teenagers.-More autonomy will be given to our school thanks to a wider diversity of our sources of financing such as the school tax, sponsorship from enterprises, aids from the county and foundations. Moreover, the involvement of the entire educative community will give a group dynamics.
