mobinardo V
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The aim of the proposed strategic pool project mobinardo 5 was to increase and improve the mobility of students in vocational training by 160 grants for 4- to 8-week placements abroad in all countries. It was essentially addressed to prospective participants taking part in non-commercial trainings. Commercial trainees were also considered but in lower ranking. By involving their vocational training colleges (BBIs) in the process of organisation and implementation of the project the mobinardo- foreign work placements were developed quantitatively but above all qualitatively (eg, a more precise description of the learning agreement stipulated by experts versed in the subject, recognition of the placement as a component of the vocational course in the BBIs). Mobinardo 5 was based on the structure of the previous projects, mobinardo I – IV (2007-2014) certified since 2010. Within this framework approx. 600 participants have taken part in foreign work placements, usually of a duration of 4 – 8 weeks. We were able to further develop these projects . All mobinardo projects consist of the three areas, mobinardo flow, -individual and –groups, but the emphasis in each case is different. In mobinardo flow, the original form of scholarship allocation, the EU-Service Center (EU-GS) arranged work placements in various countries, and organised and supported the complete stay abroad. Experience has shown that this form of placement was especially suitable for inexperienced young candidates. In other cases taking only limited responsibility in the preparation for the trip, disposing of limited support from the BBIs and sometimes bad matches for participants led to dissatisfaction. Therefore smaller flows with trusted partners abroad were offered aimed at clearly defined groups of candidates (e.g. nursery teachers) for the year under review. Special requirements of the individual candidates could be better met (e.g. improved intercultural training and support, better recognition of the foreign placements in the development of the vocational courses as well as an increased formal recognition through the cooperation with BBI). Since 2008, mobinardo individual has been offered in addition to mobinardo flow. This is aimed directly at individual candidates, who, independent of their BBIs, organise their own work experience abroad. The third project area, mobinardo groups, aimed at smaller groups of the same vocational training course, who organized and carried out their work experience abroad together with the supporting vocational staff and the EU-Service Center. Since its introduction in 2010, mobinardo groups saw a continual growth in demand so that it became the core project area of mobinardo 5 which developed into a strong transmission belt imparting practical knowledge and process related know-how to the BBIs. Mobinardo 5 continued to diversify in this area in order to better satisfy the needs of the interested groups and - at the same time - achieved the aims of the project more precisely. Mobinardo groups took vocational courses into consideration, of which long-term only a small percentage of the students can take part in the scheme. The individual disposition of the students as well as external general conditions (e.g. little affinity of the vocational training companies, poorly- organised mandatory internships) were responsible for the little participation of this group of students. Vocational colleges, which were inexperienced in organizing and performing work placements abroad, could benefit from close monitoring, strong support and relief of staff. They could benefit from this systematic expansion and development of structures which enabled them to carry out more independent activities abroad. Finally, the conditions for participating in mobinardo for BBIs, who want to apply individually for mobility in the longer term, became more transparent. In this way preliminary considerations within the colleges were connected to a binding framework and the planning process could be pre-structured (e.g. 7 mobinardo scholarships in the first year, 10 in the second year and an independent application in the third year).
