Educational Mobility of Teachers of Pallotti Gimnazjum in Ożarów Mazowiecki, Poland.For many years we have been observing a growing need to create an extra-curricular class, which topic would concentrate on how to build a future educational and working career path. That is why, we decided to introduce “Personal Development” classes in our school. We were motivated by specific needs of our students and their parents, as well as the necessity to prevent rash educational decisions which, in the future, could result in increasing the rate of unemployment. To cope with the task, we decided to prepare our teachers for it by sending them for foreign mobilities. Thanks to these courses our teachers would get to know the tools to prepare our students for developing personal skills, defining professional predispositions along with choosing career path. What is more, our teachers will be able to prepare students to present themselves and their abilities by using latest digital tools. Taking into account how speaking more than one foreign language is important in modern world, we decided to expand our teachers' competence in this area. As a result, our students will have the opportunity to take part in multi-languages classes (additional classes that combine two foreign languages). What is more, science classes' teachers will incorporate elements of foreign languages while teaching in their mother tongue (CLIL).To achieve these goals, we have chosen a group consisting of: foreign language teachers, science teachers, IT teacher and our headmasters (it's 9 people all together). Our participants will take part in:• Foreign language courses; the result: improvement in teachers' language competence;• Foreign methodology courses on motivation and personal development; the result: mastering methods by which the school will introduce a new course;• Methodology courses with CLIL elements; the result: to provide teachers with the competence to introduce foreign language and CLIL during science classes;• Methodology course on IT tools; the result: preparation of digital learning portfolio;• Study visits; the result: introduction of new solutions in the field of school management; • 'Job shadowing' mobility; the result: practical abilities in conducting career development classes. The materials covered by us after mentioned courses, will be shared by us on an open licence.The project will have an impact on:• Our school: introduction of new school subjects into our curriculum (“Personal Development”, CLIL, multi-language classes, IT), new international projects, changes in school management• Our teachers: improving the foreign language skills as well as developing new methodological competence• Our students: better preparation for the next steps in educational and working career, second and next language skills' development, expanding international projects• Our students' parents, the local environment and international projects' partners.As a result, in the future, our school will be able to provide better preparation for further choices in educational and working career path to our students and graduates. Our school will become innovative so, consequently, it will be an inspiration for other schools. The project and its activities will definitely help our school to raise prestige among other schools in the region. What is more, thanks to it, our teachers will increase their self-esteem and taking part in extra-curricular courses will prevent them from the burnout.
