Craft College, along with educational activities, implements policies of connecting VET and labour market. With MOBEM project Obrtničko učilište/Craft College-adult education institution aims to improve professional knowledge and skills of 25 students in vocational occupations that will finish education in 2016. through professional practice for 2 weeks at partner institution KWVD Frankfurt, and to improve professional and personal competences of 5 staff member through job shadowing for a period of 5 working days at Regional Craft Chamber at LeerWittmund (KHWS), Leer.Ex students who will participate in the project are attending regular 3 or 4-year education for following professions: car mechanics/car mechatronic, car body painter, gas, electrics and heating installers, computer technicians, electrotechnicians and eletroinstallers. Craft College empoyees will be: principal, 2 experts in adult vocational education, career guidance expert, IT teacher/ expert in developing innovative eduacational content.Project objectives are:-improvement of professional skills of vocational professions -acquiring of new competences through practical training in Germany-gaining of work experience in foreign country,-gain insight into working conditions in order to strength employability after completing of VET-increase of competitiveness on the Croatian and EU labor market.For the staff objectives are: Efficient cooperation between education training and labour is the primary aim of Craft College and KWHS is good example together with education institution in Leer involved. Participation i will ensure its growth as an educational institution. Improvement of competences will be done during job shadowing of 5 days for each participant in different sector (managing education, experts, carrier guidance, promoting enrolment in VET programmes, IT expert in vocational training). New methodology, new tools and curriculum contents ready to transfer to our programmes– this will be visible results of the project which will ensure its sustainability. We will compare curricula, e- learning method, didactics and pedagogy for mentors. This project will ensure professional development of participants and strengthen collaboration of partners. Project activities will ensure enhancement of skills during the entire life, mobility of students and VET experts and connects education to labour market (Europe 2020), work based learning, internationalization and strengthening of everyone involved in VET, as well as exchange of best practice examples for strengthening institutions participating in this project (The Bruges Communiqué). Project results will promote VET in dissemination activities during the whole period of the project, and it will be done together with participants and partners according to prior activity schedule, which will be used to track the activities and evaluate the project in all phases. Founders of Craft College (Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts, Regional Craft Chamber Zagreb and Association of Craftsmen Zagreb) will give on disposal all disemination pathways (websites, newspapers, local TV and radio stations, newsletters, meeting, round tables on the topic of vocational education etc. Local and regional authorities (City of Zagreb and Zagrebačka County educational officies) will be informed about the project and results. Partners will present project on their websites, newspapers and meetings.Participant level evaluation will be conducted before and after the mobility. Participants will be awarded with Europass mobility certificate, Certificate of attence and language course certificate.Project will be implemented through phases: preparation of mobility, mobility implementation and evaluation.Preparation of mobility phase-will be carried out through following activities: Coordinator will create a plan for project implementation; participants will be selected according to predefined criteria; coordinator and host partners will create detailed work programme according of students occupations.WP for all occupations shall be drawn so that students improve and extend existing skills and get familiar with processes of disposal and handling of excess or useless materials for further work, and useful for another usage. Mobility phase: practical and theoretical knowledge that students will acquire through practical training, they will be introduced with possibilities for further education and personal career development or employment. Coordinator will organize meetings before mobility starts with students, their parents and will introduce them with the Eramsus+ programme, project,obligations,host partners and documentation. All participants will participate in language and cultural preparations for the purpose of the better efficiency of professional training and practice.We plan that students will go on mobility in November 2016, while staff mobility will be realized during Spring 2017.
