MOBILITE ET COOPERATION EN ROUMANIE, CROATIE ET FINLANDE E BOULANGERIE-PATISSERIE ET RESTAURATION
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

This year in 2015, we are currently submitting our 6th Erasmus project. This project emphasizes European mobilities in Romania, Finland and Croatia by creating a real cooperation with our Europeans partners. The main target is acquiring a professional experience in another European country by combining cultural, professional and humanitarian exchanges. 15students in bakery and confectionery as well as in catering are granted the opportunity to do a four week training course with a local programme enabling them to discover the country they stay in. The mobilities take place during the first semester of the BTEC National’s third year. Each destination is a unique programme, hence the large variety of the work places offered. As a result, students selection is very important and needs to be thoroughly organized. It starts when students begin their first year in BTEC National. Throughout the programme, all the students and their families are kept informed about the selection status. As for Romania, we offer work placements in international luxury hotels in which the mentors demand high skills in the professional field as well as in the language field. Our five year experience has made it possible now to have loyal receiving partners. We are currently implementing a new partnership with the French association “La route de l’amitié Voreppe-Lapos” so that our students doing a work placement in Bucharest have the opportunity to discover rural life in Romania during a weekend break. During their stay in Lapos, our students will work and exchange professional skills with the staff of a hospital (for example: making a “gratin dauphinois” together). Working with luxury hotels and meeting local people in rural Romania is an atypical experience which is only possible thanks to the cooperation of Mrs. BALMAND, the president of the association. Our students will be immersed in the Romanians’ real life in rural areas, far away from the professional life of the luxury hotels receiving international guests in Bucharest. As for Finland, we are going to repeat our partnership with TREDU school in Tampere for the third time. We greet Finnish students at our work places and Anne Tyynela greets our students and places them at partners’ restaurants. We only send cooks and bakers to Finland but we wish to develop our partnership and understand why the Finnish school does not train waiters. This is the reason why the integration of both a teacher of general subjects and a teacher of professional subjects would help each partner to exchange and move forward. As for Croatia, Erasmus 2014 will be the third year of mobility in Split. In October 2014, we are going to greet at our work places 5 Croatian students who are willing to discover gourmet restaurants. We are in charge of greeting, monitoring and placing these students. Daniel Mamic did this for our french students.Further a request from the Oliva Allegra school, a teacher from our school will spend one week to give chocolate over the Croatian students there.Once again, the aim is to exchange and move forward and thus adapt our preparation for integrating our students in a European mobility. In the long term, we wish to create an exchange including teachers and students for mobility projects in Finland and Croatia. As for Romania, our aim is to ensure the continued existence of our exchanges with mentors acting in international luxury hotels while explaining to our students that life in Bucharest is completely different.Earlier mobility projects and the next, allow us to have an asset in our courses catering and bakery. These European professional experiences are recognized by our local internship partners and teachers. Also hosting school students Split and Tampere partners. But especially Erasmus + has an impact on the recruitment of prospective students, families are very sensitive to its opportunities available to young people in baccalaureat professionel
