This project meets an institutional need that we identified in a SWOT analysis: improving school attendance and diminishing absenteeism. The idea, which is mentioned in the PAS of the institution, is also appropriate to a mobility application. The mobility is expected to increase school attendance with 5% in the next two years, for technical classes, as a result of greater interest and motivation for professional training. Young people who are at the age of choosing a path in life must understand that the future is in their own hands. And if they choose a job that they like, it feels as if they didn’t have to work even one day in their life.The project entitled “Increasing learning motivation through participation in European mobility" is addressed to a number of 45 high-school students, in the 11 th and 12 th form, specializing as “ Food Analysis Technician ”, “Mechanical Technician” and "Aircraft technician’’which will participate in 3 flows, in 3 different countries, along with partners we worked with in other projects as well.The main goal of the project is increasing motivation and interest for education through participation in training internships abroad. The professional experience acquired as a result of this mobility will help the students integrate on the ever-changing labor market.The methodology applied consists in applying standards of professional training.The main general objectives are: promoting a positive attitude towards the training of students who specialize in a certain field, acquiring the necessary skills for integration on the European labor market, communication in a foreign language.The specific objectives for a food analysis technician are: - improving / developing the skills necessary for food examining;- acquiring skills to present and explain the modifications of food due to counterfeiting;- developing skills to discover counterfeit food;The specific objectives for an aircraft technician and a mechanical technician are: - developing skills to plan actions to avoid and reduce risks in the workplace;- acquiring skills to analyze the plan of action in case of accident and be prepared for all contingencies;- acquiring competences for connecting power supply and equipment in installations, for identifying digital integrated circuits;- developing practical skills for measuring non electric physical sizes with electrical physical sizes and using device with electronic display in equipment and installations;- acquiring skills for using microcontrollers in installations.The internship abroad will raise interest for professional training, as the students acquire a qualification which will facilitate access on the labor market. The outcomes will be: technical competences, specific for their field of training and tangible results, such as materials, portfolios, articles written by our students about their participation in this project.The activities of the sending organization are: to identify the needs of the school and analyze the training needs of the participants, register in ECAS, obtain the PIC code, contact partners, fill in and send the application form with all the necessary documents for the filling in the ECAS platform. In case the project is approved all the necessary steps will be taken for the organization, implementation, reporting and dissemination of the project.The activities of the host organization are: to register in ECAS and obtain the PIC code, work together with the sending organization in order to organize, implement, report and disseminate the project.The activities of the participants will be in accordance with the specific professional competences mentioned in the project.The impact and benefits include: diminishing absenteeism, promoting the image of the school, benefiting from the outcomes, improving training activities, raising interest and involving other training centers, developing a positive attitude towards labor, raising interest in practical training, collaborating with the partners (with training centers in our country and abroad), supporting the participants to acquire skills and develop competences to improve their professional development and employability on the European labor market.
