Mobilita - moja prvá skúsenosť s európskym trhom práce
Date du début: 1 juin 2016, Date de fin: 31 mai 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project named “Mobility – my first experience on the European Labour market ” we want to address one of the most acute issues of the European Union of today, the youth unemployment. Since the professional skills together with foreign language and ICT skills and competences have become critical in terms of getting and keeping a job, by our project we want to address improvement of the above competencies and thus make our students’ entrance to the European labour market easier. We believe that the work-based learning in an authentic working environment of foreign companies is the most natural and effective way of acquiring of the all above competencies. Accordingly, the main aim of the project is to enable the highest number of our student to improve the above competencies through a work-based experience in a foreign company related to his/her professional field of studies.Twenty-four students of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades of the Secondary Technical and Art School of Samuel Mikovíni, who study paper and old book bindings restoration, graphic design, biotechnology, pharmacology, environment and geodesy will take part in the project in three countries of the European Union – Germany, England and Spain. Students will be acompnied by 3 teachers. The participation in the project will thus enable our students to see, observe and experience the world of advanced Europe with its modern technologies, processing procedures, use of materials and machinery operation at their workplace. The project also includes also one individual mobility for a teacher of paper and old books binding restoration. The proposed length of the work experience is 14 days. Students will work for 7 hours every working day.Further expected positive outcomes of the mobility project is that students will achieve professional working competences and active professional involvement in their field of study, active participation in operation of the firms, companies and organisations. Last but not least are the learning outcomes of the non-formal education as well as personal, social and working contacts. After the work experience the mobility participants will receive the Europass mobility and Personal Appraisal Form to certify acquired learning outcomes, which should improve position of our graduates on Slovak and foreign labour market. The project will not finish by the end of the actual mobility. After the professional working internship abroad students together with project coordinators will take an active part in dissemination activities - in our region, on the primary schools, on web - the result of which should be improvement of the perception of our school and youth related EU activities by public, project partners and foreign employers. The students will present their abroad experience to students and teachers of our school. They will also take part in our schools’ promotion and presentations for primary schools pupils to attract them to choose vocational education at our school. Our dissemination activities should also inspire other schools and organisations to get involved into the mobility activities within Erasmus + programme. Project coordinators are also ready to share the experience with the project management and introduction of ECVET methodology on the information seminars of the National Agency. With regard to assessment, transfer and validation of acquired learning outcomes our school used the ECVET methodology for the first time, which we have found very useful concerning the description of acquired skills and competencies of the mobility participants. This significantly facilitated communication between sending, receiving and employer organisations related to arrangement of tailor-made quality foreign work placement for our students. The evaluation and assessment of the project outcomes will serve to increase the quality of cooperation with partners’ and employers’ organisation as well as to identification and description of learning outcomes that our students will be able to acquire thanks to mobility projects. In a long-term period we would like to continue in developing cooperation with partner and employer organisations at organising other types activities within the Erasmus + programme, such as partnerships or mobilities for teachers of professional or ICT subjects.
