For many years, the school of the participating colleagues has been taking part in international projects (e. g. Comenius) and traditionally realising school exchanges with the Czech Republic, France and Italy. The project aims at mobilising teachers for bilingual subject teaching as well as the enhancement of the school’s internationalisation. Both participating teachers have already contributed to Comenius projects as persons in charge and shall also be prospectively involved in the organisation of international projects. Thus, they are given the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of foreign languages since none of them is a language teacher. Concerning the everyday school life, the colleagues are supposed to be integrated into bilingual classes. It is planned to offer a participation in the advanced training to an increasing number of the school’s teachers so they can act as multipliers in the future. The proposed advanced training specifically addresses to teachers other than language teachers in order to further adapt linguistic competences of the staff for the continuation of international projects facing the European dimension
