Mobilisierung des Personals zur Verbesserung der Internationalisierung
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Against the background of the reorganisation of our school into a central site under one roof, it is the aim of our project to improve the language skills of our teachers and learners in the fields of technology and economics in order to have a profound linguistic basis to take part in international competitions and school partnerships. In the field of economics more students of our school will be enabled to obtain foreign language certificates in their field of training respectively use their language skills for studying internationally. In the field of technology we put a focus on an international subject-specific exchange. Students are to be enabled to successfully take part in internatioanl competitions and fairs. This way they also increase their chances on the international labour market. In the field of social studies at our school we want to strengthen bilingual competence (Sorbian) and open up new perspectives (English). Both participants in the project in their function as foreign language and social studies teacher will be multipliers and raise education and training at our school to a higher bilingual level. Ms Heimbürger already has skills in foreign language didactics and knowledge in online learning as well as basic skills in dealing with modern media (e.g. Smartboard, using wikis for teaching). Mr Müller already organises intercultural exchanges and will - after the training course - serve as a multiplier for bilingual teaching to improve the two major fields of education and training at our school - economics and technology and raise them to an international level. For this, students of our school will take part in international fairs and competitions in those fields. He will as well actively organise the participation in student exchanges with our neighbour countries (Poland, Slovakia). Emphasis is put on dealing with historic questions concerning the relationship between Germans and Poles. The English language serves as a basis for working up history together. The project will be presented to all colleagues so that they will be be motivated by the international approach and to reach sustainability. Students will be motivated to evaluate the project (bilingual lessons), which is limited to two years with a view on an extension of that project.
