Mobil in Europa - Kooperation durch innovative Projekte in der Berufsausbildung

The school documents are valid and binding for all foreign activities (mission, guidelines, school program, etc.) There it is also stated that as we offer a specific European training program for all departments and areas as overall aim. We find female and male participants in a school intrinsically selection process. The guidelines apply for all projects regarding stays abroad. After their return, the participants report in class and evaluate their stay together. The opening of the European job market has already become reality. Due to the high training standard in the dual education, our female and male students are well prepared in regards to the content. However, they often have reservations and fear concerning an engagement in Europe. In certain technical areas our partners are equipped better so that we can benefit from them.
A.1.1 Painters and polishers
In the mobility for 2x6 trainees in the painter and polisher craft, two flows of a three weeks duration are executed in Denmark. During the first week, there is a course at the partner facility EUC Syd at Sønderborg. As part of their training in the learning field 9, the trainees carry out interior structure special techniques. Thus they improve their skills in work techniques relevant to the exams. The results will be rated and considered in the learning field grade on the Vocational school report. During the second and third week, the trainees complete a practical training in painting companies. This provides insight in operational work processes in Danish companies.
A 1.2 Commercial vehicle mechatronics in Finland
In the mobility for 2x6 trainees in the commercial vehicle craft, two flows of a three weeks duration are executed in Finland. The project contains two work fields. On the one hand, the students shall get to know the working condition’s special features in a garage for commercial vehicle repair in South Karelia.
During a period of two weeks, it should be practised how work orders can be executed despite weak communication and ignorance of the garage’s infrastructure. During the second work field, subject teaching takes place at a Finnish school, where the testing of the brake system and their components is executed in a real truck. The long-term goal is a competence module oriented to ECVET in close cooperation with our partner and the anchoring in the training plan as constant optional offer.
A1.3 Vehicle mechatronics in Norway and Spain
In the mobility for 1x8, 1x5 trainees in the vehicle craft - main focus E - two flows of a three weeks duration are executed in Norway and Spain. Gifhorn County belongs to the metropolitan region of the E-mobility window. These are valid reasons to offer a high quality training in the main focus system high-voltage technology at our school. The shortcoming of a lack of training materials and competence shall be balanced with the help of our cooperation partners in Norway and Spain. It is intended to work out and apply common learning situations respectively lesson contents with local teachers. Then lessons shall be held on site in teaching blocks by our teachers with support from personnel and material.
With the help of suitable diagnostic and measuring instruments they execute measurings under tension. They examine the functions at high voltage systems, evaluate the readings and signals on plausibility and draw up test reports. In addition, students from Gifhorn complete training periods in companies in the partner countries, in order to test theoretically learned contents in practise. A 1.4 Optometrists
In the mobility for 2x6 trainees in the optrometrists craft, two flows of a three weeks duration are executed in Austria. During the first ten days a training takes place in each operation. This gives them insight into operational processes in Austrian operations. Then a project shall be executed in the partner installation of the Tyrolean Vocational School for Photography, Optics and Hearing Acoustics. The trainees reinforce their abilities and skills in learning field 7 to advise and supply customers with spherical defective eyesight. Thus the students improve their skills in areas relevant to the exams. Moreover, the training period aims to broaden the personal horizon, a positive assessment of job possibilities in EU countries as well as getting to know the country and people and thus a positive access to a united Europe.
