1. Our group is called Youth with Witkacy and consists of 5 members. 2.. The project’s subject involves youth mobilization in its pure sense. 3 The project’s main goal is to promote citizens’ initiative. The secondary goals include: - promoting cooperation between youth and local institutions - promoting tolerance - initiating actions in order to create the Witkacy Park - improving the quality of systems supporting youth initiative - integrating local circles 4. - Advertising and promotion of the project by publishing leaflets and posters, media information as well as through direct contact among the youth and institutions in SA‚upsk. - Holding a series of 8 educational and discussion outdoor meetings. These will take place at the Pomeranian Dukes’ Castle in SA‚upsk, the Citizens’ Initiatives Centre and the Culture Centre in SA‚upsk. Witkacy’s person and works will be the starting point of the meetings. The subjects will include: nationalism and intolerance, the sense of local as well as European solidarity, and activation in this environment. The meetings will be directed towards a debate on youth initiatives and possibilities of their realization. - Holding a picnic event at a venue in 11 Listopada Street in SA‚upsk. During the picnic we are going to arrange a set of workshops and art performances as well as a demonstration of three murals - large format reproductions of Witkacy’s works painted on gable ends of blocks of flats. - During the picnic we will hold graphics as well as decoupage workshops with the use and inspiration of Witkacy’s works. There will also be space for self-presentations of initiative groups. Apart from the young people, we would like to see a discussion among the local authorities, institutions and citizens concerning the creation and arranging of a Witkacy – style park in SA‚upsk. 5. - enhancing the youth activation in citizens’ initiatives - initiating the creation of the Witkacy Park - promotion and integration of local circles
