Младите хора заедно срещу дискриминацията, домашното насилие и трафика на хора
Date du début: 1 mars 2015, Date de fin: 30 juin 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Young people with risky behavior in Roma are the most frequent victims of multiple discrimination, domestic violence and human trafficking. The reason for this is that on the one hand are discriminated against because of their social origin and belonging to marginalized communities (the poorest and most uneducated Roma), and because of the conservative nature of the Roma ethnic group, they are discriminated against and within the community because of his behavior. The project aims to empower these young people by implementing the relevant mechanisms for self-help and support, trained to recognize and protect their rights to communicate with institutions and civil society organizations relevant for their problems. Through self-help groups and support we expect to inspire courage of young people who want to bring about change, creating a network of socially active young people are empowered to exercise their rights as citizens tolerant towards each other - assuming different. So together to oppose discrimination, domestic violence and human trafficking. Target groups: Roma youth at risk (sex workers, drug users, LGBT youth with risky sexual behavior, subjected to domestic violence and trafficking), and local Roma community, NGOs and institutions. Problems with which we work and we want to reduce to the greatest extent discrimination and social exclusion of girls and boys with risky behavior of the Roma community. These young people are doubly discriminated against, excluded from public life, in many cases subjected to domestic violence and trafficking within the community and beyond. The fact is that they are rejected by a closed community in which they live, as well as our society. In many cases there is a violation of their basic human rights, they do not receive the necessary support from the society and institutions, there is not enough publicity to the problem. In our daily work we are faced with a major problem - discrimination of young people from their families, loved ones right in the neighborhood, the community, the police, health and social services. These young people do not know they have rights like everyone else, what they are and how to protect them. All people in Europe, including the marginalized have human rights in accordance with international law. We believe that young people know best their needs and we have a common goal: empowerment to reduce discrimination in the Roma community and beyond, prevention of domestic violence and trafficking of young people risk behavior. Thus, by creating a favorable environment for strengthening tolerance and solidarity in the closed society in which they live, will be displayed on our society, especially people from the Roma neighborhood that these kids are like all of us have the right to live a normal and with dignity guaranteed by the laws and moral standards of our society. Together young people, getting to know is can break stereotypes to ensure the proper, free and dignified life. Knowing what their rights are, recognizing domestic violence and trafficking, getting to know each other will lead to the strengthening of civil society and normal life of rejected young people.
