The MIRRA project name is derived from Mise en place des Réseaux de Randonnées transfrontaliers (establishment of cross-border hiking and cycling networks).The aim of the project is to encourage cross-border walking and cycling and to improve tourist reception facilities in the border area. To this end, the partners implement cross-border hiking networks and an infrastructurefor hikers and cyclists. These achievements eliminate the border effect, enabling the tourist to easily explore the cross-border area thanks to a uniform signposting system.
