This application form regards the project " Aiming high, reaching wide" will be fulfilled by the junior high school of Jan Kochanowski in Dopiewo. Twelve teachers are participants: - Headmaster - improving language, - of English - 5 people (including the psychologist), - of Polish and Spanish, - of German and Chemistry, - of Mathematics, - of Biology, - of Physics, - of History. Almost 240 pupils and 15 teachers will be involved in the process of the initiative, therefore it is possible to classify them as indirect participants of the undertaking. In our junior high school six foreign languages are taught: English, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Japanese. Groups are divided in terms of the language level. Aims of the project are: 1. improving the level of foreign languages by teachers and pupils. 2. increasing the number of foreign relations. 3. development of interpersonal skills and other competence entering into the composition of crucial competence, at pupils and teachers. 4. promoting the multiculturalism and granting the school the European dimension To achieve them is to contribute the training needs to above mentioned teachers. The teachers are divided into two groups: - five foreign language teachers - wanting to improve one's methodological workshop, - seven teachers of other subjects - wanting to improve one's language skills To other needs - for all participants in the project - a proficiency at using ICT during the lesson, as well as improving Formative Assessment at the trainee school rank. Moreover, the headmaster wants to improve herself in managing an educational institutions and international projects and to get experience from European education systems. Before the accession to the project the group of participants created the schedule including the following actions: 1. preparing EPRS and the conclusion for Erasmus+, sending the application, the exchange of contracts from on: drawing schedule, purposes, budget up, making a decision as for applied methods and tools of design action at individual stages, the determining the manner of the reporting; 2. situation analysis school: using SWOT, list of problem issues, feedback from pupils and their parents and with inspections, all tools (forms, lists of questions, questionnaires) will be in advance prepared and delivered; 3. preparation for the project (technical and organizational): altogether subgroups of participants with indirect participants (teachers and pupils) will be preparing for the departure of twelve people for courses; methods and tools: publications, albums, maps, folder, workshops, e-learning, multimedia presentations, e-mails, Skype, web portals; establishing the cooperation with the outside company organising accommodation, accommodation, booking of places on routes and covering for each other (optional); 4. promotion of the knowledge about programs and tools of the European education with a website, during the lesson and meetings with parents and during open days; 5. departure for courses: purchasing the knowledge and competence by teachers, of getting to know teachers from other states, knowing European education systems and issues of multicultural Europe, taking the first declarations of the international cooperation; 6. report on trainings: report in writing to the message of the management and the coordinator and the presentation summing up; 7. popularizing results: leading series of workshops for teachers from our school and from outside it, the access to copied materials; 8. developing a strategy and implementing the class from CLIL; 9. the promotion of the project in the environment lasts through the entire project and it is based on the contact with the media, updating a website, the cooperation with pupils, parents and the local community; 10. the evaluation is held through the entire project, is based on the SWOT analysis of teachers, analysis of the pupils’ achievement in the acquisition of knowledge, inspection, obtaining the feedback from pupils and teachers based on conversations and observation. The project will be affecting direct participants in the project, indirect participants in the project and the school as the institution. We are planning achieving the following results: - enhancing the educational offer (CLIL introduction), - raising the level of foreign languages skills and improving the methodological workshop of teachers, - making more frequent contacts and international partnerships, - increasing the participation of teachers and pupils in foreign projects, - increasing the frequency of using foreign-language educational materials, - promoting the multiculturalism, - increasing the ICT application during the lesson, - development of key skills, - granting of the school of European feature.
