Each year 2-3 silent films are presented and accompanied with live score by European musicians. The master class screenings focus on film classics and forgotten masterpieces. The screenings are always accompanied by leading European film critics or writers in order to give depth to the viewing experience and to provide insight to the context and texture of the film. Special focuses are generated within these selections with highlighted country and genre focuses. There is no competition for the reason that the festival wishes to give all its titles an even and equal coverage in the eyes of an audience as wel
